This set features a beautifully hand-painted background board depicting the different layers of the rainforest with simple labels and a second page featuring a range of different Amazon animals to add to the background relevant to where they live.

Ideal as a resource to use again and again, or as a worksheet to cut and stick. These activities make brilliant file folder activities and are suitable to accompany the study of rainforests or geography.

Pack includes a blank layers background, one with the layers labelled for younger children and a completed page to use as a poster or answer key. There is also an ID poster for identifying the species depicted and a lesson plan with ideas for use, extension activities and book recomendations.

To create a tactile finished item I highly recommend printing onto high-quality paper, I like to use watercolour paper as this also allows the children to add their own paintings to the pages they create and means that every piece looks and feels like an original painting.
